3rd DEGREE

The third degree is divided into two levels.  The first step, Reiki 3(a), is for those who want to increase their healing ability but do not necessarily wish to become a Reiki teacher.  Students will receive the fourth symbol during this level.
 
The second step is known as Reiki III or Reiki Master Teacher.  It is also known as Gokikaiden (highest level) or Shihan (teacher).  Here the student will learn how to give Reiki attunements and how to teach.
 
Becoming a Reiki Master or Master Teacher is an opportunity to deepen your commitment to the practice of Reiki and involves considerable preparation.  You will be required to have completed the first two Degrees and have extended your experience for around a year after the Second Degree.  All of Denise’s students receive ongoing support and encouragement after each level.  This is continues after completion of the final step as graduates begin their rewarding journey as a Reiki Master Teacher.
 
The 3rd Degree of Reiki teaching includes the following:
      •     Review of First and Second  Degrees
      •     What is Master Level  Reiki?
      •     The Usui Master symbol
      •     Discussion and  demonstration of the Reiki attunements
      •     Full training on teaching  including content for seminars at each Reiki Degree
